We welcome industry involvement in employability events for students throughout the year. These events offer great opportunities for companies to come on campus and connect with student talent. Both employers and students love the networking and employment opportunities that result.

Employers are invited to:

- Participate in Career Fairs

- Be a part of Employability Matters our week-long series of career events that runs each semester

- Speak at one of our AUT Guest Speaker Series, attend panels or deliver presentations to students via an Employer Showcase in our Employability Lab.


Career Fairs 2019

Career Fairs are an excellent way for you, as an organisation, to tap into student talent. As an exhibitor or booth holder you can meet, chat and observe hundreds of potential employees at one time.

There is no charge for attending career fairs at AUT

Employability Matters 2019 

Semester One: Mon 6 May – Fri 10 May

The Employability and Careers team run two Employability Matters events each year, one per semester. These week-long series of events and workshops provide an intensive period during which students can concentrate on developing employability skills and gain multiple exposure to industry leaders, insights and trends.

Semester One: Monday 6 May – Friday 10 May

Semester Two: Monday 23 September – Friday 27 September
